Email blog test from my phone.

Here I have the FT-817 in my handlebar bag and an Outbacker Jr on the back rack.  The antenna is the same one I had mounted on my bike when I did my tour of Japan back in 2000.

The battery you can see is laying on the ground in front of the bike.  It's a couple of LiPos in a nice solid case with a 2 Watt solar panel for charging, that I picked up on Ebay.  I can also charge with the hub dymino on the front wheel.

Made a quick test on 20m and worked a VK7 on SSB.  Not to bad...
